From Small Classroom Pageants to the Biggest Campus Crown: How Adigun Favour Became TASFUED Most Beautiful 2026

Date:

IJAGUN, OGUN STATE — When Adigun Favour was crowned TASFUED Most Beautiful 2026 on June 5, it was more than the announcement of a new campus queen. For many students who had watched her journey over the years, the moment represented the reward for persistence, growth, and an unwavering commitment to becoming better.

Her victory did not happen overnight.

Long before the bright lights, glamorous gowns, and celebration that accompanied her coronation, Adigun Favour was building her confidence on much smaller stages within Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED).

Her pageantry journey began at the departmental level, where she contested as Miss SCASSON. Like many first-time contestants, she was still discovering herself, learning how to stand before an audience, communicate with confidence, and navigate the pressure that comes with competitive pageantry.

Looking back on those early days, she often jokes about being “still chubby,” but beneath the humour was a young woman determined to improve with every opportunity.

As her confidence grew, so did her ambitions.

She later emerged as Miss COSPED 2025/2026, a milestone that significantly increased her visibility within the university community. The transition from classroom contests to college-wide competition exposed her to tougher challenges and larger audiences, helping her develop not only as a beauty queen but also as a confident public speaker and student leader.

Those who followed her journey noticed the transformation. Her stage presence became more refined, her communication more engaging, and her confidence more evident. She was gradually proving that pageantry extends beyond physical appearance to include charisma, personality, intelligence, and meaningful engagement.

Determined to broaden her experience, Adigun Favour began competing outside the university.

One of her earliest appearances came at the Miss Oreke Tourism 2026 pageant in Ejinrin, Epe, where she received the Most Industrious Queen award. While she did not win the overall crown, the recognition affirmed her dedication, work ethic, and determination.

She continued her momentum at the Miss Olumo Pageant 2026 in Abeokuta, finishing as First Runner-Up. The result further strengthened her growing reputation as a consistent competitor capable of excelling beyond campus competitions.

Her biggest breakthrough outside TASUED came at the Miss Ibadan and Awards 2026, where she competed against contestants from different institutions and cities.

She emerged as First Runner-Up while also receiving the Best Personality Engagement and Best Dressed awards, recognitions that reflected her ability to connect with audiences and present herself with confidence and elegance.

By then, Adigun Favour had evolved into one of the emerging personalities in Southwestern student pageantry.

Despite her achievements beyond campus, there remained one title she deeply desired—the TASUED Most Beautiful crown.

That dream became reality on June 5, 2026.

Inside a packed venue filled with students, supporters, and members of the university community, Adigun Favour was announced as TASUED Most Beautiful 2026. The announcement sparked emotional celebrations as supporters erupted in cheers, cameras captured the historic moment, and fellow contestants joined in congratulating the new queen.

For many who had witnessed her journey from departmental contests to external pageants, the victory felt like the culmination of years of preparation rather than a surprise result.

Today, Adigun Favour represents more than a beauty title. Her journey reflects the value of consistency, resilience, and self-development, demonstrating that success is often built through continuous learning and determination rather than a single defining moment.

From Miss SCASSON to Miss COSED, from Ejinrin to Abeokuta and Ibadan, every stage contributed to shaping the woman who now wears one of TASUED’s most prestigious campus crowns.

As she begins her reign as TASUED Most Beautiful 2026, many believe the university title is not the final destination of her pageantry journey, but another milestone in what promises to be an even bigger career.
