She played a key leadership role during the COVID-19 pandemic as the Lead Investigator for the Convalescent Plasma Clinical Trial and coordinator of the COVID follow-up and outpatient clinic. She has also contributed to several national and international initiatives aimed at improving blood safety and transfusion services.

Currently serving as the Executive Secretary of the Lagos State Blood Transfusion Service, she remains a strong advocate for ensuring the availability, accessibility and safety of blood for patients across Lagos State and Nigeria.
