IKENNE, OGUN STATE — Grace Adenuga Ayomikun, a student of Mayflower School Senior, Ikenne, has been honoured with the YESIR Foundation 3rd Academic Excellence Award for Exceptional Talents after emerging as the third-best public school candidate in Ogun East Senatorial District in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Grace achieved an outstanding JAMB score of 309, earning her a ₦300,000 cash prize from the YESIR Foundation during its 2026 Academic Excellence Award presentation, which celebrates exceptional academic performance among public school students in Ogun East.

The recognition places Grace among the top four public school candidates rewarded by the Foundation this year, reaffirming the importance of hard work, discipline, and academic excellence.
In a statement celebrating the achievement, Mayflower School Senior, Ikenne, described Grace’s success as a reflection of her resilience, diligence, and unwavering commitment to excellence.
The school noted that her accomplishment has not only brought pride to her family but has also added to the institution’s long-standing reputation for academic excellence, inspiring other students to pursue their educational goals with determination.
